Video: Add an Attachment

You can add an attachment to a new thread or existing thread in a discussion topic.

  1. Click Communication and select Discussions.

  2. Click the name of the Topic.

    1. Add an attachment to an already existing thread.
    2. Add an attachment to a new thread.

Add an attachment to an already existing thread

*NOTE: You must be the creator of the Thread to add an attachment.*

  1. Click the drop down arrow next to the thread.
  2. Select Edit Thread.
    Test for the BloomuDev treahd with the context arrow clicked and menu expanded displaying optoins to Edit Thread, Flag Thread, or Print Thread.  Edit Thread is selected.
  3. Click Add Attachments

  4. Drag and drop files or use the buttons to add an attachment
    1. Upload: Bring material from your computer into the thread.
    2. RecordAudio: Allows the user to add audio recordings.
    3. ChooseExisting: Allows the user to choose something from My Locker, Group Locker, or your EPortfolio.
  5. Click Update when you are finished.

Add an attachment to a new thread

  1. Follow Steps 1-5 using the Create Thread tutorial.
  2. Click Add Attachments.

  3. Drag and drop files or use the buttons to add attachments.
    1. Upload: Bring material from your computer into the thread.
    2. Record Audio: Allows the user to add audio recordings.
    3. Choose Existing: Allows the user to choose something from My Locker, Group Locker, or your EPortfolio.
  4. Click Post or Save as Draft when you are finished.
