Exempt a Student from a Grade Item
Instructors can exempt students from a grade item.
To exempt a student from a grade item,
- In Grades, click Manage Grades.
- Click the drop down arrow beside the grade item.
- Select Enter Grades.
- On the Enter Grades page, click the checkbox beside the student’s name.
- Click Exempt.
- The student will show as exempt from the grade item.
- Click Save or Save and Close to save your changes.
- Click Yes to confirm changes.
To remove an exemption,
- In Grades, click Manage Grades.
- Select the drop down arrow beside the grade item.
- Select Enter Grades.
- On the Enter Grades page, click the checkbox beside the student’s name.
- Click Unexempt.
- The student’s exemption will be removed.
- Click Save or Save and Close to save your changes.
- Click Yes to confirm changes.
