How to Tell if Assignments are Hidden
Go to the Assignments tool. Your assignments will display a “Hidden” icon if they are hidden from students. They will not have the icon if they are visible to students.
In Content, if you have linked to an assignment via Existing Activities, you will see hidden assignments marked as being in “Draft” status. They will not if they are visible to students.
Make Assignments Visible While Creating or Editing
- In Assignments, create or edit a submission folder.
- On the Save, Cancel, and Visibility Panel turn the visibility on by clicking the Visibility toggle.
Note: The default visibility setting for a new assignment is "hidden" - Save your changes.
Make Assignments Visible in the Assignments List
- Click the drop-down arrow beside the name of the assignment.
- Select "Make Visible to Users".
Make Assignments Visible in Content
- In Content, click "Draft" to the right of the linked assignment.
- Select "Published".
Make Assignments Hidden While Creating or Editing
- In Assignments, create or edit a submission folder.
- On the Save, Cancel, and Visibility Panel turn the visibility off by clicking the Visibility toggle.
- Save your changes.
Make Assignments Hidden in the Assignments List
- Click the drop-down arrow beside the name of the assignment.
- Select "Hide from Users".
Make Assignments Hidden in Content
- In Content, click "Published" to the right of the linked assignment.
- Select "Draft".
