Create a Group Assignment Using the Assignments Tool

Just as individual assignments, group assignments can be created using the assignments tool. To create a group assignment, you should have previously set up categories and groups, using the Manage Groups tool.

From the Assignments Page:

1. Click New Assignment
   
   
   
2. On the New Assignment Page, give your assignment a name and description, select the Group assignment option, and choose the group category that this assignment will be linked to. Once finished, click Save.
   • You can also set the options for submission, grade items, score, and rubric, just like an individual assignment. For more information, see How do I create an Assignment.
     
     
     
3. On the Assignments page, any assignment with the group icon is a group assignment.
