Enable Auto Grade

Sometimes quiz attempts don't show up in the Gradebook when you're expecting them to. For quiz attempts to be graded and exported to Grades automatically, there are two settings to enable.

If you wanted quiz grades to automatically flow into your Gradebook, but they did not:

1. Access Quizzes.
2. Click the drop-down next to the name of the quiz.
   
   
3. Select Edit
   
   
4. Click on the Assessment tab.
5. On the Assessment tab, check the box next to "Allow attempt to be set as graded immediately upon completion."
6. Check the box next to "Allow automatic export to grades."
   
   
   
   
7. Click Save.

Some quiz questions are can be graded automatically, including multiple-choice, true and false, and matching. Some like written response, must be graded manually.
