View a Student's Quiz Attempt
If you need to grade a student's quiz attempt, you will need to view it. To do this, you can access the student's attempt via the Grade Quiz page.
To view a quiz attempt:
- In Quizzes, click the drop down arrow beside the quiz.
- Select Grade.
- Find the student in the list and click the attempt link under their name.
- View the student's attempt.
- A: Information about the student’s attempt displays at the top of the page. If there are multiple attempts you can use the Attempt selector to toggle between them. You can click on the Quizzes Event Log link to see the time and IP address log of the student’s quiz attempt.
- B: Grading Feedback area lets you grade the quiz. You can auto grade or manually grade the quiz. There is also room to leave feedback on the attempt. (If you make any changes here, be sure to click Save.)
- A: Information about the student’s attempt displays at the top of the page. If there are multiple attempts you can use the Attempt selector to toggle between them. You can click on the Quizzes Event Log link to see the time and IP address log of the student’s quiz attempt.
- View the student’s responses to questions.
- A: If sections are included, they will display and you will have room to leave feedback.
- B: Questions will show how students answered and you will have room to leave feedback.
- A: If sections are included, they will display and you will have room to leave feedback.
- When viewing questions, correct responses by students will have a green checkmark by the correct answer. Incorrect responses by students will have a red x by the answer they chose and the correct answer will be indicated with a blue arrow.
- If you make any changes, click Save and Close or Save. If you do not make any changes, you can click Cancel to exit the attempt view.
