Reset a Student's Quiz Attempt

If you need to reset a student’s quiz attempt, you can access the student’s attempt via the Grade Quiz page.

When you reset an attempt, this PERMANENTLY deletes the attempt and all data from the attempt is gone and can’t be restored.

Reset an attempt when you want to delete the attempt and have the student start over.

To reset a quiz attempt,

1. In Quizzes, click the drop down arrow beside the quiz.
2. Select Grade.
   
   
   
   
3. Find the student in the list and select the checkbox beside the attempt to reset.
4. Click the Reset (trash can) icon.
   
   
5. Click Yes in the confirmation window.
