Video: Change Settings

You can modify settings within the Discussions tool.

1. In Discussions, click the Settings link with the gear icon.
   
2. In Settings, do any of the following:
   1. Select whether or not to always show the Discussion List pane. Selecting to show pins the Discussion List pane to the View Topic and View Thread pages.
   2. Select the view you want to use in Discussions. Reading view is the BOLT default. Grid view displays posts in a grid.
   3. Select whether or not to include the original post in your reply. This option adds the original post in your reply.
   4. Select whether you want to automatically subscribe to new threads you create.
   5. If you are using Grid View, select the threading style, display settings, and other options for your view of Discussions.
3. When you are done, click Save.
